Joseph G. Fattorusso is our newest associate here at the Law Offices of John T. Bazzurro. Being a first generation American, Mr. Fattorusso understands the frustration that comes with not understanding the legal system, and how quickly insurance companies look to take advantage of others.

As a result, over the years Mr. Fattorusso has built a tenacious and overzealous demeanor in how he litigates personal injury matters on behalf of all of his clients.

Mr. Fattorusso will be focusing on all the core practice areas here at the firm.

He brings with him five years of litigation experience.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of John T. Bazzurro, Mr. Fattorusso’s legal career began during law school with the law firm of Hofmann & Schweitzer, a distinguishable plaintiff’s only Maritime Law Firm located in Manhattan.

During law school Mr. Fattorusso learned the complex nuances of Longshoreman/Stevedore litigation, assisting dozens of longshoremen before the Office of Workers’ Compensation.

Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Fattorusso became an associate with the law firm of Hofmann & Schweitzer.

In addition, to focusing on Longshore matters, Mr. Fattorusso also specialized in other Maritime areas, such as Jones Act claims and boating injuries.

During his tenure with Hofmann & Schweitzer Mr. Fattorusso recovered over $3 million dollars in settlements for injured workers and their families.

After leaving Hofmann & Schweitzer, Mr. Fattorusso joined the law firm of Sullivan Papain Block McManus Coffinas & Cannavo, P.C., a prestigious trial firm located in Downtown Manhattan, where he focused on personal injury matters, including medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, premise liability, slips/trips and falls, constructions accidents, and other general negligence type claims.

Mr. Fattorusso is licensed to practice law in both the State and Federal Courts in New Jersey and New York.
